Guidelines

The Journal of Arabic Studies, published by the Department of Arabic, University of Kashmir, invites researchers, academicians, and literary contributors to submit their work for consideration. To ensure a smooth review and publication process, please adhere to the following guidelines:

Submission Format:

Research papers and literary works should be typed in Microsoft Word.
Use the Sakkal Majallah font with a font size of 14.
The document should be free of formatting errors and properly aligned.

Style Guide:

Submissions must follow the latest MLA style sheet for citations, references, and formatting.
Ensure consistency in citation style, including in-text citations and the works cited page.

Language:

Articles should be written in Arabic, adhering to the linguistic and grammatical standards of the language.

Length:

There is no strict word limit; however, the length of the article should be appropriate to its content and scope.
The typical length for research articles is between 5,000 to 8,000 words.

Originality:

Submissions must be original and unpublished. The work should not be under consideration for publication elsewhere.
Authors are responsible for ensuring that their work is free from plagiarism.

Abstract and Keywords:

Each article must include an abstract of 150-250 words summarizing the research.
Provide 4-6 keywords that encapsulate the main topics of the paper.

Peer Review Process:

All submissions undergo a double-blind peer review process. Authors are expected to cooperate with the editorial team during the review and revision stages.

Editorial Decisions:
